Bill has served as the Director of Golf and as a coach for the Massachusetts Special Olympics, and was instrumental in starting the Belmont Sports Program Golf Team for athletes with mental retardation or closely-related developmental disabilities.

This past year Bill teamed up with Children's Hospital of Boston in the fight against Cancer! The program was named "Learn Golf For Cancer." The concept was simple: Take a golf lesson on any Friday last summer and 100% of the money went directly to Children's Hospital of Boston.
